Bead 'N' Breakfast Event

Join Diane, TBC Owner, for a relaxing cup of coffee and make a pretty bracelet too!  Learn the basics of beadstringing while creating a simple bracelet for yourself or a loved one.  Bring Mom, Sis, daughter... no experience necessary!

$10 for instruction.  Materials paid separately.

Beading Contest


Honoring Native American Heritage
Deadline for submission: February 29th

Diane and the staff at TBC invite all of our beaders to challenge themselves in creating a piece of beadwork INSPIRED by the works of our early Native Americans.  Beadwork is not juried, and pieces do not need to be official representations of any particular tribe or technique.  Simply be creative and write a short paragraph about what inspired your work.
 
THREE CATEGORIES:
I.  STRINGING (jewelry, ceremonial, etc.)
II.  APPAREL (leather, bags, etc.)
III. FORMS (dolls, bowls, etc.)
 
Contest Rules:
1. The majority of the beads and materials used in beadwork must be purchased at Tatnuck Bead Company.  "Found" items from a personal collection will be allowed in moderation.
2.  Designs must be original.  No copies of beadwork (from magazines, display jewelry, online).  Unoriginal pieces will be disqualified.
3.  One submission per person. Please include original beadwork, name, phone number, one paragraph and indicate which category your piece is to be judged in.

Top Prize: $50 Gift Certificate
Honorable Mention: $10 Gift Certificate
1.  All entries will be placed on display during our Tucson Trunk Show in our Worcester store location this March.
2.  Top Winners in each category will have their beadwork photographed by Bead Ambition and posted on the Tatnuck Bead Website.
